Dr. Bryan Schneider, MD, associate professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, was announced as the recipient of a $450,000 grant to further his research on the relationship between taxane-induced neuropathy and clinical outcomes with other chemotherapy treatments. About one-third of patients who receive chemotherapy with a taxane develop neuropathy. His research aims to provide insight into the mechanism of the neuropathy side effect, which would help scientist develop treatments to prevent the toxicity. Â READ MORE
