The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy is partnering with Life Time to participate in the virtual, Hoka One One “Run the L Challenge” during the next eight weeks.
Participants in Chicago and around the U.S. are challenged to run (or walk, or wheel) the total distance of Chicago’s elevated transportation system (“the L”). Registrants have eight weeks to tackle 131 miles, which can be accomplished solo or divided and conquered with a running buddy! The challenge will run between August 10 and October 4.
Lindsay Colbert, FPN’s Executive Director, is eager to take on the challenge to help raise awareness and funds for the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy.
Traveling with Peripheral Neuropathy needn’t be a challenge. Amidst COVID-19, our friends at Million Mile shared a guide with FPN to help our patients not miss a step on their travel plans.
The FDA approved an 8% capsaicin patch (Qutenza) for the treatment of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy of the feet in adults.
