Fighting Off Cancer Does Cost

In a study from the Colorado Cancer Center, results have shown that using Oxaliplatin for the treatment of colorectal cancer causes Oxaliplatin-induced neurotoxicity (OXIN). One way to avoid immediate symptoms from the drug is to use a ‘stop and go’ treatment cycle giving the drug with breaks in between treatments.
