New Type of Stem Cell Preparation Could Bring Pain Relief to Diabetics

New study has been published showing the potential of stem cells providing relief to people suffering from painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). Stem Cells Translational Medicine published the study on July 9th. Inflammation is considered a major culprit in DPN. While there are treatments for the diabetes and to helping to alleviate pain, Dr. Ruth Waterman, of the Ochsner Clinic Foundation, says, “….none of these therapies directly targets the inflammation.” READ MORE
