St. Louis University Researcher Targets Pain in Chemotherapy

Dr. Daniela Salvemini, associate professor of pharmacolgical and physiolgical science at SLU School of Medicine has been awared a grant to research a way to help ease, or stop, pain during chemotherapy. Pain is the primary reason patients stop chemotherapy treatments. Chemo-therapy induced peripheral neuropathy causes a feeling of burning and inflammation in extremities. READ MORE
