Stem Cells Show Promise as Treatment for Diabetic Neuropathy

Research released earlier this summer shows that rats who received intra-muscular injections of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC’s are adult stem cells traditionally found in the bone marrow. but can also be isolated from other tissues including cord blood, peripheral blood, fallopian tube, and fetal liver and lung) 12 weeks after the induction of diabetes offered potential therapeutic benefits for diabetic neuropathy.  READ MORE
