We partner with research institutions around the world. Our global reach supports more patients and scientists, expanding the peripheral neuropathy research network.

Our primary research program is our biobank. The Peripheral Neuropathy Research Registry (PNRR) collects samples through a network of neurological partner clinics to build this unique biobank. Our collection sites have been selected based on the patient populations they serve, their geographic location, and their willingness and ability to participate in the PNRR specimen and data collection. Having collection sites across the United States expands access for patients and increases enrollment. This fuels more research.

The IMAG±iNe study started in 2016 at two hospitals in the Netherlands: the University Medical Center Utrecht and Maastricht University Medical Center. With help from the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy, the study has now grown to include hospitals in other countries. The goal is to learn more about a rare nerve disease called IgM-associated peripheral neuropathy, which can happen with or without something called anti-MAG antibodies. All of this work will help scientists plan better treatments in the future.

We partner with The American Brain Foundation, in collaboration with the American Academy of Neurology, to fund Clinical Research Training Scholarships (CRTS) in Peripheral Neuropathy. This early career research funding gets more researchers to pursue neuropathy research. These awards will be reviewed by top experts in the field to promote research in peripheral neuropathy.
