Tools for Patients and Caregivers
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) can be one of the most difficult and long-lasting side effects of cancer treatment. To commemorate Cancer Awareness Month, the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy, in partnership with The Cancer Wellness Center and The Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, will explore the causes of CIPN, how it affects patients, and what treatments and supportive care options are available to help manage symptoms.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, or supporting a loved one, this program will offer clinical and complementary strategies—including medication, acupuncture, diet, and lifestyle approaches.
Why attend?
- Understand what chemotherapy-induced neuropathy is and its causes.
- Explore medical and non-medical symptom management options.
- Learn how lifestyle changes (diet, exercise) can help manage pain.
- Discover how acupuncture may aid nerve healing and comfort.
- Get tips for caregivers on supporting loved ones through neuropathy.
A live Q&A will conclude the program.
