Since 2021, neuropathy advocates have secured peripheral neuropathy as an eligible for research funding under the Department of Defense’s Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP). Because of this, over $20M has been invested into peripheral neuropathy research, and we need your voice to keep that momentum going.

Join us on November 12 to learn how you can be part of Neuropathy Advocacy Day on March 10, 2027, when patients, caregivers, and researchers, along with FPN staff and members of the Board of Directors, will gather in Washington, DC, to urge Congress to continue funding PN research.

You’ll hear from Mark Vieth, our government relations strategist who has worked with us for the past 7 years. He’ll talk about how the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) and the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) work, what actually happens in meetings with lawmakers, and why showing up in person matters.

You’ll also hear from Kathy R, who lives with PN and participated in Advocacy Day this past March. She will share what it was like to tell her story on Capitol Hill for the first time and how powerful her storytelling could be.

No advocacy experience is needed. Whether you live with neuropathy, care for someone who does, or study it, your story helps turn real faces and lives into research dollars for a better future.

The webinar will close with a live Q&A with our speakers and details on how to express interest in joining us in DC.

Help improve the lives of those with PN. Your contribution helps us support research and provide an improved quality of life for those affected.
