The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy Received Transformational Gift

We are honored to share that on October 20, 2025, the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy (FPN) received the incredible gift of a substantial sum from our longtime supporter and friend, Lynne Warner. This generous donation, given in her memory, will have a lasting impact and bring hope to the peripheral neuropathy community.

About Lynne Warner

In the words of her husband:

Lynne died aged 59, taken too early by a glioblastoma – brain cancer. A beautiful Amazon of a woman, she grasped life with both hands. A pilot, traveler, backpacker, mountain biker, whitewater kayaker and martial art practitioner. When she took an interest in a pastime, she focused.  Always earnest, she lightened her intensity with wit and laughter. Although busy, she was generous with her time. She had many good friends and a husband.

Lynne’s father had mild peripheral neuropathy, so Lynne was quick to suspect peripheral neuropathy when she had numbness started in her feet that slowly progressed. As a result, she redoubled her efforts to make her life meaningful, camping and travelling more, so maybe peripheral neuropathy’s effect on Lynne’s life was not completely negative.

After being diagnosed with glioblastoma, Lynne maintained her humor throughout her decline. Her many friends visited frequently, often in small groups. Laughter frequently erupted. Lynne made some gifts of cash to a few friends she knew needed some cash and bequeathed her remaining financial assets to peripheral neuropathy causes.

Lynne Warner’s Legacy

We are deeply grateful to Lynne Warner and her family for their generous and forward-thinking support. Her legacy will continue to inspire progress and bring new hope to everyone affected by peripheral neuropathy.
