Leaving a Legacy

August is National Make-A-Will Month. We’re thrilled to be celebrating by announcing the Mazawey Legacy Circle. This giving circle honors those committed to investing in a future without peripheral neuropathy (PN) by including us, the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy, (FPN) in their estate plans

Lou Mazawey leaves his mark on FPN, the future of neuropathy

The Mazawey Legacy Circle is named in honor of Lou Mazawey. Lou is the former FPN board president, and a current board member, PN patient donor, and a nationally-recognized leader in retirement law. Lou’s long-standing generosity and vision has helped shape our organization, into what it is today. He will also help us continue to grow in the future with his bequest.

Make a lasting impact

Including FPN in your will, trust, or as a beneficiary—just like Lou and many others—helps speed up research, support learning, and spread awareness of PN. There are many tax-savvy ways to give. Together, we can make life better for millions of people.

“I’m creating a legacy gift for the future of FPN by naming the Foundation as a major beneficiary of my 401(k) retirement plan. I know whatever strides we make to benefit the PN community need to continue after my lifetime and am hopeful my legacy gift will achieve its objectives.” – Lou Mazawey
