To achieve our Mission, the Foundation funds some of the most brilliant minds in neuroscience. No one laboratory has the capacity to tackle the complex challenges of peripheral neuropathy alone. The Foundation organized a collaborative approach that will allow researchers to achieve a high level of trust, openness and collaborative interactions marked by dynamic, interactive and intellectual and scientific relationships between them. Our funded research grant programs

Collaborative efforts will foster the exchange of new information and cutting edge technologies with academic and industry researchers alike. We hope to increase the movement of new treatments into the clinic. Ultimately, the more that is known about the function and dysfunction of the nervous system, the more individuals can be helped to have a better future.

Interested in applying for funding for research related to Peripheral Neuropathy? Our funding is available year-round and is chosen based on research topic and donor interest.

Research Grants Applications will be accepted only from those with a Ph.D., M.D., or other equivalent professional degree, employed at a qualifying research institution.

The goals of our research grants program

  1. Encourage promising new investigators to undertake research on regeneration and recovery, particularly with respect to the peripheral nerves;
  2. Encourage researchers who are well-established in other areas to transfer their efforts to peripheral neuropathy research;
  3. Enable researchers with novel ideas to test their ideas and develop pilot data for seeking larger awards from NIH and other funding sources.

Research grants are approved in a two stage process

Stage I

Please complete our Letter of Intent (LOI) and submit it for review via email at [email protected].

Stage II

If your LOI is approved for Stage II, we will notify you via email to complete our detailed online grant application that must be submitted no later than 4-6 weeks prior to the application deadline (TBD).
