Keto vs Mediterranean Diet: Which is Better for Diabetes?

A recent crossover study looked at the cardiometabolic outcomes for each of these popular diets. Both the ketogenic and Mediterranean diets successfully cut blood sugar levels in patients with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, according to a small, randomized crossover trial. Both also led to decreases in weight.
