Additional information on Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs
The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) originated in 1992 via a Congressional appropriation to foster novel approaches to biomedical research in response to the expressed needs of its stakeholders-the American public, the military, and Congress. Check out their webinar series on types of funding opportunities offered, and strategies to increase the success of applications submitted to different CDMRP programs.
Background information
Since our formation in 2007, we have worked to advance peripheral neuropathy research to improve diagnosis, treatment, and management of this debilitating condition. In the first year for PN eligibility, more than $8 million in funding was awarded. Since then, over $19 million in funding has been awarded for PN research.
