Scientists at Cambridge University, London, have identified a gene responsible for regulating chronic pain. Their drug discovery should help drug researchers in their search for more effective, targeted pain-killing medicines. By studying the gene in mice, the were able to show that taking away the gene took away neuropathic pain. The drug will not affect normal acute pain. READ MORE
