Peripheral Neuropathy Awareness

[printfriendly]

One of FPN’s primary goals is to raise awareness of peripheral neuropathy, both to reach more patients with our educational information and to highlight the need for more research and more answers for treatments for patients. Although peripheral neuropathy affects millions of people in the United States and around the world, it is still not well known or understood. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy supports an annual Peripheral Neuropathy Awareness Week, maintains videos, brochures, and public service announcements, and in general, works to make peripheral neuropathy more well known to bring more attention to the plight of the peripheral neuropathy patient, as well as help patients know that they are, sadly, not alone in their journey living with peripheral neuropathy.

Get PN Awareness Week recognized in your community

As we are ramping up our national peripheral neuropathy awareness week efforts (May 5-11, 2024), we are launching a new initiative – with your help, we are asking local leaders to support our national endeavor of recognizing the first week of May as Peripheral Neuropathy Awareness Week. Can you please download this letter template and take a few minutes to fill in the requested information (your city, contact information, and a personal story about your journey with PN) and then send it off to the mayor or leader of your local city/township? This is a fillable document for you to directly edit within.
