Professor John Wood at UCL Wofson Institute for Biomedical Research has new findings the could help the development of analgesic drugs to treat nerve-related damage. Published in the journal Nature Communication his research has identified specific neurons in mice that are important for transmitting particular types of pain and that the transmission of neuropathic pain is dependent on these neurons.
